Job Description:
- Understand furniture trends and research what styles will soon gain momentum.
- Use software to create detailed 3D designs for complex projects.
- Design new furniture: Create conceptual sketches, 2D dimensioned product elevations using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with design team to create production-ready designs according to industry and manufacturing guidelines.
- Knowledge of materials such as rattan, wood, plastic, and general material.
- Knowledge of industry, engineering, math, and materials.
- Ability to analyze data and situations and come up with creative solutions within appropriate deadlines.
- Keep up to date on industry and engineering standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a furniture design-related field, a related course of study, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in furniture design.
- AutoCAD 2D and 3D experience.
- Revit or 3ds Max.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
